last night tim and i were able to take our first night away from both our girls. it worked our perfectly as we needed a night away and we were able to celebrate tim's 34th birthday, which is coming up this next week. it was only 24 hours away, but felt like several days. we were able to have 3 uninteruppted, quiet, diaper and barf free meals where we actually had adult conversation and were able to eat our meals slowly! what an amazing concept! we spent the night at a quaint, romantic inn called the harvest inn in st. helena (which we would totally recommend) and toured the wine country like tourists. we had a blast and remembered how much we really do like each other-we did miss the girls, but not TOO much:) thanks grammie and grandpa for taking great care of our little ones-we appreciate it!

sign me up! man, looks amazing... eric and i suck at getting away- actually we fail, cause we've never done it... i think its time... i mean come on, its been 5 years of kids and not getting away... yeah, a trip is in order. i think i'll tell eric- lets book it! now we'll just have to decide where to go! :)
